South Florida’s Construction Boom
Miami is officially on the map for up-and-coming construction. In some 2015 reports, data shows that the construction industry raked in about $4.95 billion for the first half of the year (January-end of June). Meanwhile, as of the end of June this year, we are up to about $5.13 billion.
This is very exciting news to the South Florida construction industry. With about a 4% increase in spending on construction in South Florida, that leave the whole second half of the year to continue growing. At this pace, we are on track to pass the $6.3 billion spent on contracts last year.
